Welcome to the Tarheel Seniors Golf association web site. The organization started its first tournament in 2002.  We attract a group of men and women (50+) that love to play tournament golf. We try to make available the top courses in the greater Raleigh area, while changing some of our tournament sites annually. This would not be possible without the help and consideration of the Head Professional and the General Managers of these courses, to these we say a special thanks.

At our tournaments we provide over $800 worth of gift certificates and prizes awarded in both gross and nets scores , each participate is only challenged by the players within their flight, and there are four flights. Player’s handicaps and scores are maintained by the Tarheel Seniors staff. Players pay $30.00 per event, unless otherwise notified. This charge is less than the courses would charge an individual player alone.

Approximately 15 events are hosted each year with many events furnishing range balls and closest to the pin contest. Two catered cook-outs are provided during the year. A board of advisors is selected each year to assist in all golf related matters. While this organization is demanding, it is a labor of love and we thank you for your interest and support.
